Lesson Format

Lessons are offered as one-on-one instruction with Ryan Fox with ensembles and group lessons available by request.

 

Available lesson durations:

  • 30 minutes

  • 45 minutes

  • 60 minutes

 

Students may progress to longer lesson times based on readiness and instructor recommendation.

Areas of Study

  • Drum set

  • Keyboard percussion (marimba, xylophone, glockenspiel)

  • Orchestral percussion (snare drum, bass drum, timpani)

  • Auxiliary and hand percussion

  • Foundational piano exploration

Lesson focus evolves based on student goals, experience, and musical direction.

Student Progression

Instruction plans are individualized. Lesson length, repertoire, and technical emphasis adjust over time, with advanced study introduced when appropriate.
Elements of the instructional approach and curriculum are reviewed by a neuroscience professional to support effective learning, clarity of instruction, and student engagement.

Scheduling & Payments

Lesson scheduling, payments, and student accounts are handled through MyMusicStaff.

Families will use the platform to:

·       Schedule lessons

·       Manage recurring lesson times

·       Make payments and manage billing

·       Access student materials and communication

Studio policies, waivers, and guidelines are presented during the booking process.
